July 23 - July 25 @ Ohio University

The Ohio Associate for College Admission Counseling (OACAC) is proud to host this year’s Summer Institute at Ohio University University from 12:30 PM Monday, July 23 to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 25. This three-day intensive mentor-based institute brings together new admissions counselors and high school counselors (one day workshop: July 24) with two years or less of experience together to foster a deeper understanding of the interaction between admissions counselors and high school counselors, as well as expert insight into current trends and issues within the profession.

Through small mentor group discussions, workshops, and presentations, participants will learn; overarching job responsibilities, best practices, recruitment/travel, standardized testing, and advancing through the profession, to name a few. We are certain that the unique combination of a vibrant curriculum and diverse group of participants, committee members, and mentors will offer you a refreshing and rewarding experience.
