    Hello Counselors!


    My University is about to dive into a new CRM in the upcoming months.  A question that has been passed around is how does the University manage gender issues.  We're considering different options & I would like to ask how other Universities handle this situation.


    -Do you list different gender options on the application for admissions (example male, female, trans-male, trans-female etc)? & what are some genders your University lists?

    -Does your institution use legal name, chosen name or both?

    -Does your institution use a variety of personal pronouns in the application for admissions?

    -How does your University manage name and gender changes after the student has started?
